Cookie Season 2025

Booth Etiquette and ACH First Pull

Troop Cookie Managers and Leaders,

Happy Valentine's Week!

We are sending our love and appreciation to you for all you do to make Cookie Season possible!!

We have just a couple of topics to review in this issue.

Cookie Booth Etiquette

It’s very important that you follow the guidelines we have set up about behavior at a booth. The number one reason we lose locations is based on behavior.

We respectfully request that you review booth etiquette with your girls and families including:

  • Stay with your booth. Girls should not be walking up to people and soliciting. Let customers approach you.

  • Watch your volume – no yelling at customers.

  • Abide by the guidelines the store has set up. We are their guests. Do not argue with the staff about where you’re asked to set up.

Are You Ready for ACH?

ACH stands for Automated Clearinghouse. That’s a fancy term for transferring money between accounts.

For our first ACH pull, we’re looking for $1 per package. Here’s how we figure out how much you owe if anything.

  • Run the Troop Balance Summary Report in Smart Cookies. Make sure you change the Unit of Measurement (UOM) to packages.

  • Scroll down and look at SALES AMOUNTS (under the brown boxes). Since you earn $1 per package, Troop $$ is equal to how many packages are credited to your troop.

  • Then scroll down and look at Total Finances. That’s the amount of money that’s been credited to your troop.

If the amount credited to your troop is greater than the Troop $$ amount, you will NOT have a pull.

If you do not have the funds in your troop bank account to cover the money due, you need to complete this form no later than Thursday, February 13.
