Important News on Raspberry Rallies!

Raspberry Rallies sales are outstanding and supplies are limited but don’t worry – more are coming!

Our baker, ABC, anticipates running out of Raspberry Rallies by this weekend but is in the process of baking more.

What does that mean for your customers?

• The Raspberry Rally will be unavailable to order between January 21 and February 5

• A graphic noting their return on February 6 will be in place so customers know they can come back for them

• Because our program runs until March 5, your customers have plenty of time to get their orders in!

Initial Orders and Inventory

Thanks to all of you who submitted your initial order. We’re so excited to say that our initial troop orders are very similar to 2022, just 1.2% lower. That’s amazing, given the super-cold weather over the holidays!!

We are also thrilled to share that our direct ship orders are 5% higher than this time last year. We have a new subsidized shipping graphic that you could share with families to help support more of those sales toward goals.

Reminders:

• A Cookiegram on placing additional orders (aka Planned Orders) will come out at the end of the month. Girls can continue to feel confident in taking additional orders or beginning the program right now.

• Cupboard Managers are in the process of setting up their cupboard dates and hours so if you don’t see a cupboard option, check back in couple of days.

• We have lots of cookie inventory on the way so troops can have the best booth season ever!! Watch for a Cookiegram with all things Booth and How to transfer cookies the first week of February!

Planning for Cookie Booths

• We (our amazing booth volunteers and staff) are continuing to secure cookie booth locations. High traffic locations will continue to be sent in local lotteries via special Cookiegrams. Be on the lookout for those!

• We recommend Smart Cookies as your payment provider for booth season, so you don't have to incur processing expenses. We take all those on for you. Should you choose another payment provider like Square, you want to make sure you set up your account to your troop bank account. See how to do that as a non Bank of America troop. See instructions to set up if you are a Bank of America troop. Remember, you cannot pass on processing expenses to customers. Your troop takes those on.

• Start thinking and know you can now purchase cookie marketing supplies... signage, thank you stickers, light up necklaces and head bands and we so love those trefoil headbands that will show that you are GS Strong and keep those ears warm!
