Spreading Support for The Happy Feet Program
Makes Us Want to Dance!

Thank you to Sha Rhonda and all the wonderful employees at the Tax Collector's for helping us raise money for the Happy Feet Sneaker Exchange Program!

Additionally, thank you to all of the employees of the Clerk of Court that participated in dress down days to raise money for our Happy Feet Sneaker Exchange Program!

By working together, we can ensure all the children attending Indian River public schools have "Happy Feet" so they can be confident and comfortable as they learn.
Out of This World Experiences Coming
to County Elementary Schools
Thanks to an Impact Grant funded by Wells Fargo and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, 13 county elementary schools will get to experience the wonders of Space! "Science on the Go" will bring space, via a portable "Go-Dome", right to the school so that students and teachers will learn through an educational entertaining experience that serves to invigorate an interest in science, technology, engineering and math.

Recipients Announced
Thank you to all of the Indian River Educators that submitted their letters of idea! We got so many wonderful ideas our esteemed judging board had a difficult time choosing! After much deliberation, 6 projects were chosen to receive over $44,000 in grant funding.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the 2019 High Impact Grants are:

  2. Fellsmere Elementary "Kids of a Feather"
  3. Gifford Middle School: "Think Tank - A Place for Imagination, Invention and Innovation"
  4. Rosewood Magnet: "Full STEAM Ahead - Creating Critical Thinkers and Innovators
  5. Sebastian River High School: "Automotive Electrical Trainer(s)"
  6. Vero Beach Elementary School: "The Little Indian Library of Emergent Readers"
