Following the success of our Virtual 5k this summer, we're excited to announce Steps to Stop Cancer!

Steps to Stop Cancer is an expasion of Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ as an additional nationwide peer-to-peer fundraising program for CARES. Both programs empower individuals and organizations to join in the fight against cancer by supporting advanced and innovative research.

Back by popular demand, we're excited to partner with Chef Steven Robilio and bring you a family style feast in the comfort of your own kitchen!

On Sunday, October 4, join us for Mocktails, Cooking, & CARES, a virtual cooking experience! Chef Steven will lead you through a three-course menu to feed four people, with a special family-friendly "mocktail."

No matter where you live, you can join in this virtual event. Register to receive a shopping list for just $25, or pick up a meal kit for $88 ($98 for gluten free) from one of three Amerigo Italian Restaurant locations in Nashville and Memphis.

Along with Chef Steven and Scott Hamilton, courtesy of our friend and partner AllianceBernstein, we'll be joined by their very own Winston Justice, a Vice President at Bernstein and former NFL player.

Making a Difference with Moffitt Cancer Center
Congratulations and thank you to all our participants, donors and sponsors of Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer Florida on over $53,000 raised! These critical funds will equally benefit our national research endeavors as well as our partners at Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.

Moffitt Cancer Center is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida and sees individuals from every state and more than 130 countries. They are consistently recognized with the U.S. News and World Report's "best hospital" distinction for cancer care.

We are proud to partner with Moffitt and support their life-saving work. Scott Hamilton serves on the Moffitt Cancer Center's National Board of Advisors and worked with Moffitt Director Mary Coffeen to write Fritzy Finds a Hat. The team at Moffitt also treated our Board Ambassador Lucy Barrett, pictured above, as she battled an aggressive form of leukemia while pregnant in 2017.
