JAX Continuing to Build Momentum Nationwide

From the beginning, we have maintained a clear vision of JAX Refrigeration, Inc. as a nationwide presence. Today, with a renewed focus on building key partnerships with end-users and general contractors and targeting "program" projects, JAX has truly become a force on the National stage. We have seen a great deal of success and a substantial increase in awarded contracts throughout the country in recent months.
Recent Contract Awards have JAX Refrigeration working on major Projects in Rhode Island, Texas and right here in Jacksonville. Our Refrigeration, MEAS (Design) and JAX Cool (Thermal Construction – IMP) Departments are steadily completing Program Projects for one of the world’s largest Food & Beverage Distributor. In 2020 thus far, JAX will have completed these Cooler Projects in Indiana, California, Maryland, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Utah (and more to come!). JAX Cool is also on Major Projects in New Jersey, Georgia, Colorado, and Utah.
Our JAX Mechanical (Tampa & Jacksonville, FL), RHVACS (Brooksville, FL) Offices mainly focus on HVAC & Plumbing Projects in the Southeast US. That said, JAX Mechanical has recently been Awarded a major job in Laredo, Texas and are finalists for Projects in Virginia and Arizona (among others). RHVACS has several upcoming Projects in Florida, plus jobs in Georgia, Texas and (2) in North Carolina. JAX is EVERYWHERE!
Due to our improved strategy and growing nationwide presence, we have attracted several highly qualified additions to our already great bench. JAX was even featured on television recently, as one of the few businesses that is actually been HIRING during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are very excited about the strides we are making as a company and the bright future ahead. If you're interested in joining the #JAXFamily, email a resume to jobs@jaxrefrigeration.com

Department Updates
JAX Refrigeration continues to have many opportunities presented to us. The Refrigeration Industry as a whole is experiencing canceled or delayed projects and a lot of uncertainty.

JAX Refrigeration has enjoyed 10 years of amazing success but this cannot be taken lightly. Many new businesses don’t survive the three year milestone and JAX not only surpassed it, the number continues to grow. Evolution and change must occur to ensure success and survival in our world. JAX Refrigeration’s size and structure affords us the ability to make quick-direction changes to our business environment in order to better serve our customers. Without our loyal customers, team members, and a strong with vision leading JAX, there is nothing. Very similar to a ship in a storm, JAX is weathering these difficult times. When the weather clears and the waters are calm, JAX will be full speed ahead!
A loyal JAX customer continues to expand and rely on JAX Refrigeration to provide industry-leading design, engineering and installation. Major equipment, necessary for an expansion project, has arrived and June will be a very productive month for our crews. A Rhode Island project is entering its last phase and has had much success along the way.

Special thanks to our JAX Refrigeration team members in the field who have been creating the magic there. The term TEAM cannot be emphasized enough, as it takes a great deal of skill, focus and dedication from our field crews, project managers (such as Cyaira Tyler and Josh Whitchurch) and the tireless efforts of Doug Johnson and Marlin Walden to make it all happen. Thank you to our great PEOPLE who make this happen every day!
From rack to site-built, MEAS-JAX has the experience to design your next system. MEAS design and JAX Refrigeration installation – Your winning combination. We are open for business and are actively working on projects in Utah, Arkansas, Georgia, Texas and Florida.

Thank you for your support.
Stay safe and healthy.

From custom design-builds to skilled maintenance, our departments work symbiotically to provide a seamless process throughout every project phase.

JAX Mechanical has been working on several new Projects out of our Tampa office. This particular job (Pictured) required the skilled placement of three Trane 30-Ton Roof Top Units.
Our JAX Mechanical
department lives and breathes our core values every day:
Safety • People-focused • Quality
JAX Plumbing and HVAC crews have been working hard on-site, installing office-area air conditioning ductwork and the central plumbing "wet wall" on a major project here in Florida. This particular job has been especially challenging, as various types of hydraulic lifts are necessary (the roof is 45’ above the floor). With Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Sprinkler trades all "stacked" in the schedule, JAX was given a compressed 15-day schedule to work with ensuring project success. Plumbing and HVAC have been working overtime to get the job done. As always, JAX will deliver a SUCCESSFUL project for our customer – that’s what we DO!
Congratulations to Central Florida Preventative Maintenance technician, Justin Irwin, for successful completion of educational requirements and obtaining his EPA certification. This is a huge accomplishment and an important first step in his HVAC/R career. Well done!
If you are considering a career as a technician in the rewarding (and VITAL) HVAC Industry, education and knowledge of EPA standards is required before access to a variety of potentially hazardous chemicals electrical systems is allowed. In fact, HVAC technicians must acquire EPA certification before being granted authorization to handle hazardous refrigerants necessary in the repair of and installation of new air conditioning appliances.

If you are interested in a career in HVAC, JAX is the right place. In the southeastern United States, especially in Florida and Texas, air conditioning is KING! Reliable air conditioning is arguably the main factor that allows people to live and work comfortably in the Southern United States. As our regional population grows, demand for A/C units increases and in turn, trusted technicians are desperately needed. In 2018, the Bureau of Labor Statistics stated that the HVAC industry has been growing (much faster than the national average) at 13%, with 46,300 additional jobs to be added by 2028. Also, considering that the average compensation for HVAC Technicians is above $22.00 an hour (generally increasing with experience) – this field offers a FANTASTIC opportunity.

JAX Mechanical Service is currently seeking QUALITY HVAC/R technicians in Tampa, North Florida and Dallas, Texas. JOIN OUR TEAM!
