We are excited to unveil our new email look!  Not only is it very attractive, we think that this format will help you find the information that you want to have about Flagstaff Nordic Center.  We're working on lots of new branding and promotional items that we hope you like and will continue to help us grow as Northern Arizona's most awesome recreation area.  This format may not be view-able in some email services so be sure and click the web version to see all the super cool new features.  Read on for lots of things happening at Flagstaff Nordic Center or use the sidebars at the left to quickly find the information that is important to you.

No roughing it at Flagstaff Nordic Center

Our Yurts and Camping Cabins are the perfect way to enjoy an Off Grid Getaway at Flagstaff Nordic Center. All of our units are equipped with mattress pads, wood stoves, lanterns, picnic tables, fire pits and propane gas bbq grills. Grab a sleeping bag, some food and drinks and your favorite hiking hat and leave all those other camping supplies at home.  We have units available near the lodge or more remote yurts located on the trail system to hike in for more privacy.  Either way, the mountains of Northern Arizona offer a cool retreat from the heat.

LIghthorse Bicycle Company is excited to offer Alpine Bike Adventures!  Enjoy a hayride shuttle to higher elevations, explore the trails of Flagstaff Nordic Center with an experienced mountain bike guide, and embark on an amazing mountain bike adventure.  Our tours are designed for all skill and fitness levels so bring the whole family. Tours are scheduled for 10a and 1p on weekends and can be scheduled for a group any time. Lighthorse Bicycle Company will also be offering Sunset Tours, Wildlife Tours and Private Picnic Tours. Alpine Adventures, close to home.

Full fleet of Pugsley Fatbikes coming soon!!

"Fat Bikes" have been called "The hottest trend in the mountain biking world" by the Denver Post. 

But this hot ride is not just for deep powder.  Fat bikes are great for all types of terrain and Flagstaff Nordic Center is proud to be introducing an entire rental fleet of fat bikes this fall.  As far as we can tell, we'll have the most robust fleet of fat bikes on the planet and that's not all!  We'll have over 50 kilometers of trail available for fat bike riding during the summer season and 25 kilometers of groomed trails available for fat bike riding during the ski season.  

Stay tuned for more information on fat bike rentals, tours, races and rides. We'll be making announcements through email, facebook and our website.

The coolest marathon in Arizona

Accomplish your running goals and support an amazing organization, North Country HealthCare.  NCHC provides quality health care to all patients on a sliding scale.  The Flagstaff Marathon is their flagship fundraiser.  

The Flagstaff Marathon is a 100% off road trail race and has been run by world-class athletes and first timers.  The race has been called the "best supported" marathon by many runners and North Country creates an amazing vibe with wonderful support and amazing volunteers. 

With a Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K race, there is something for the runner in all of us.  

This race is limited to 400 runners and sold out in 2012.  Register today to ensure your spot in what we believe is the best marathon in the Southwest.
