IOWA INSTITUTE: STRATEGIC PLANNING & BOARD MEETING
Sept. 13: The IIC board and staff spent the day working on a strategic plan for the future.
The staff shared several ideas they're wanting to implement, one of which is this supplemental update (UNIQUELY COOPERATIVE) covering topics related directly to cooperatives. Another idea is developing an option for members to post open positions through IIC's Facebook page with targeted, paid media advertisements.
The regular board meeting followed on September 14. During this time our Hall of Fame Selection Committee also met and selected our two newest recipients who will be honored at the Annual Meeting, Tuesday, November 20.
After the board meeting the Iowa Cooperative Foundation met and selected our scholarship winners. Find more details on those winners in our upcoming newsletter.
