It's not too late to nominate a co-op hero for a PCPI award, but it will be after April 1
Wiktionary defines an unsung hero as "One who does great deeds but receives little or no recognition for them." All too often our cooperative teachers, directors, board members and parents are unsung heroes. You can change that by nominating that special person or those special people who make your preschool cooperative the successful and joyful place that it is. PCPI's annual awards recognize district and national heroes as well as special awards for excellence in teaching and making significant contributions to the cooperative preschool movement. Awards will be presented at the upcoming PCPI Annual Meeting and Conference in Chicago or can be presented at a time and place convenient for the nominator and awardee. Nominate someone today and they may join these excited and pleased award winners from the 2015 Conference in Vancouver.
Coming Next Month: an interview with the founder of the recently established New Bern Cooperative Preschool on how to start a co-op.
