COPA NIGHT AT PELICAN STADIUM - This is the last week to purchase your tickets for the July 21st Copa Night at Pelican Stadium. We had a great turnout for the Merengue lesson that Jim Sterner taught for us at St. John's Hall. If you didn't participate in the lesson, no worries, you can still join us for the socializing, eating and dancing to the Latin music that will be playing all evening while we watch the game. DANCING AT VINE BISTRO THIS WEDNESDAY

Everyone had a great time doing the merengue with Larry Tannelli and Claudette at the Vine Bistro last month. Let's do it again! The management has moved the table in the middle to make more room for dancing and is giving our group a 10% discount. You MUST RVSP, it's the only way for them to plan enough servers for us.

A night of Social/Ballroom Dancing at the Calabash Elks Lodge! Everyone is welcome, dancers, non-dancers, Elks or not! But the important part is you must RSVP with the link below.

Our First Thursday Dance at St. John's Hall on July 11th was a great success! Everyone loves this venue! Next one is August 1st.

You never know where you will run into your BDPS friends dancing ! Crepe Creations in the Market Common now has dancing on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 pm to midnight. They are playing music from the 20's,30's and 40's and our dancers are having a ball. Let's help support the local businesses that are providing dancing opportunities for us!

You can help BDPS continue to grow our local dance community! If you are on Facebook, please like and share our pictures and events. Whenever you share a post the views they are multiplied exponentially. If you are not a friend of the Ballroom Dance Preservation Society, send Charlene a friend request. Also whenever you are out dancing and others express an interest, ask if they would like to receive our BDPS weekly Buzz and send Charlene their email address. We have a marketing team working on our marketing plan but our best marketing efforts will come from all of you who enjoy our events and would like to see us continue to grow.
