Women In Business Panel To Feature Q&A With Local Medical Professionals

2020 has certainly made maintaining a healthy lifestyle a challenge, but there's never been a more important time to put your health first!

Join us Thursday, Dec. 3 for our third annual Women in Business Health Panel.
The Zoom-based event will feature an impressive panel of female business owners and local healthcare professionals:

Amy Goddard, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, PRC, Physical Therapist, GO Sports Therapy
Amy specializes in treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries and has owned GO Sports Therapy here in Coppell since 2000. She became Postural Restoration certified in 2016 and believes private practice physical therapy is the best value in health care. Amy also loves traveling to Africa on medical mission trips. She shared, “We believe in the human capacity for healing and creating an environment where that healing can occur.”

Susan Harris, MSN, RN, CNM, FNP-C, Nurse Practitioner, LifeStream Health Centre & Med Spa
Susan will share her knowledge and expertise about hormones, weight management, thyroid health, genetics and more. Practicing for over 25 years, Susan is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Case Western. With an integrative approach to medicine, Susan takes the best of Western science and combines it with a broader understanding of the nature of illness, healing and wellness. By treating the whole person and finding the root issues, she not only addresses the ability to get well, but more importantly, how to stay well. Particularly proud of her years as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Susan’s faith in the power of God and the strength of women was magnified as she delivered over 2,500 babies. Susan’s compassion and thoroughness create strong relationships with her patients and positive outcomes for them.

Divya Javvaji, MD, Internist and Geriatrician, Prime MD Geriatrics
Dr. Divya Javvaji completed her residency at NorthWell hospital in New York and her fellowship training in Geriatrics at Yale New Haven Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut.  She cares for all ages of adults. Her goals are to help keep patients healthy and independent and to ensure that her patients, their families and caregivers have a high quality of life as they age.  She is married with two children.  She has owned a business in Coppell and been a Chamber member since 2019.

Angela Moemeka, MD, MBA, FAAP, Pediatrician, Mark9 Pediatrics
Dr. Angela Moemeka is a board-certified Pediatrician that has been practicing for 18 years.  She has a Doctor of Medicine from University of Connecticut School of Medicine, completed a Pediatrics residency at Thomas Jefferson University, and holds a Master of Business Administration from Temple University.  It is her philosophy to supply comprehensive, compassionate and accessible care to all her patients. She believes that getting healthy should not be complicated, and that wellness comes from making healthy easy. Dr. Moemeka enjoys going to her son’s games and practices, volunteering, walking, running, and spending time with her family and dog.  She has been a Coppell business owner and Chamber member since 2019.

Moderating the panel will be Amanda Brummitt of The Brummitt Group.

Our program sponsor is Mr. Cooper and our event sponsor is DFW International Airport.
