Most activities will be good for ages 4-"too cool for kids stuff". There will be a few toddler-friendly activities as well.

Featured Annual
Sweet Potato Vine - Kelly Ray
Patented in 2014 by Kelly Marcum, and featured on the Martha Stewart Show, this sweet potato vine's showy heart-shaped 'Ace of Spades' like foliage showcases a marbled purplish-black and vibrant lime green color. This annual can handle fun sun or shade and is heat tolerant.
Featured Shrub
Hybrid Tea Rose
Hybrid tea roses boast a flower form that no other roses can touch! Large and high-centered, these blooms stand out beautifully on long, single stems. With great fragrance and exceptional vigor, a hybrid-tea rose bush is a must-grow for every cutting garden!
Featured Tree
Bald Cypress
The Bald Cypress is a deciduous shade tree with delicate feathery foliage that turns a copper color in the fall. It is considered a fast grower and tolerates extremely wet soil conditions. It reaches a mature height of 60'-100' tall and a width of 40'.

May Maintenance Guidelines
  • Apply Hi-Yield's Grub Free Zone II to kill grubs before they damage your lawn and to control June Bugs.
  • In mid-May, treat for pine needle diseases with copper fungicide.
  • Seed warm-season grasses in mid-May through the end of June. (Bermuda and Zoysia both require soil temps to be at least 65 deg to germinate.)
  • Fertilize cool-season lawns with Marcum's 18-6-12 fertilizer if you did NOT fertilize in March and April.
  • Fertilize warm-season lawns with B. R.'s lawn tonic (28-6-12) or Nitro Green (31-0-0) in May.
  • Apply ferti-lome 38 Plus Turf Termite and Insect Control to control home invading insects, lawn insects, insects on ornamentals and bagworms.
