The Chamber would like to recognize and thank those who renewed their membership investment in August.
BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH

COAST CENTRAL CREDIT UNION

Coast Central Credit Union's McKinleyville team of 20 financial services experts offers a complete array of personal and business deposit and loan products, Online and Mobile Banking, and the unique convenience of evening and weekend hours - the only financial institution in McKinleyville providing banking seven days a week! We are open until 7 pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends.

One of our newest employees is Senior Member Services Supervisor, Lisa Landry. Lisa brings nearly 20 years of credit union knowledge and experience to our location. Please stop by 1968 Central Avenue anytime to say hi to Lisa and our friendly team.

Did you know that we are on YouTube? This year we developed a series of short, informative videos about how to build and preserve good credit, as well as the differences between banks and credit unions. Primarily designed to help educate young adults, these videos provide key information to help anyone become financially savvy. You can easily access the videos through our web site at coastccu.org/financial-education. And if you haven't liked us on Facebook, now is a great time to do that too! It is the perfect way to stay informed on recent CCCU news, see what community activities our employees are doing, and hear about special promotions.

Mark your calendar for our special Chamber Mixer on Thursday, October 24. We will have an early close at 5:30 pm to welcome Chamber members to celebrate International Credit Union Day with fun giveaways and the introduction of our 2020 wall calendar, autographed by the artist. The calendar is always a special way to thank CCCU members for their support of a successful year of serving the community.

We are excited about our computer system upgrade happening in early November. Though our existing system certainly served us well for many years, our Board of Directors and Management team acknowledged the time had come to invest in future technologies and upgrade our core database system. The new system will create many more efficient processes that will allow us to serve our members better and faster. If you are a member and have not yet done so, please stop by today to confirm or update your contact information. It will ensure you stay informed throughout the upgrade process, and give you the opportunity to win a $50 Coast Central gift card in our monthly drawings! (No purchase or payment necessary, must be a CCCU member to win, winners randomly selected on 9/30 and 10/31).

It is our pleasure to serve the wonderful, growing community of McKinleyville. Member Services Manager Kelsey Dunn and her team thank you for your support and look forward to serving your financial needs!
