New Building
CONSTRUCTION BEGINS SOON
In mid/late April, LeChase will mobilize on-site to begin installing fencing, job trailers and project/directional and general signage.

This new building consists of (2) four-story wings forming an open angle “L” framing a shared quad with Gates which will link the eastern end of Gates at the Second Third and Fourth floors. It will usher in the use of timber on our campus with the installation of CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) on its upper decks. Construction will span approximately 24 months with an anticipated completion of Spring ’25. Boston based Leers Weinzapfel Associates is our design partner.
CONSTRUCTION PHASE IMPACTS
  • The site will encompass the area of the existing baseball field. Fencing will be installed between Gates and Grumman, along Hoy Garage and Hoy Road. A full site plan is forthcoming.
  • Pedestrian traffic exiting Hoy Garage south will be directed across Hoy Road for the entirety of the project. Pedestrian exiting to the North will be limited to the 2nd level Campus Road exit.
  • The site stairs abutting Hoy Garage at the north will become unavailable.
  • Closure of the parkmobile lot adjacent to the ballfield/garage is scheduled for the week of 4/17; parkmobile remains an option on the garage ground floor.
  • Stay tuned for further specifics.
