Artea One Step Closer to Breaking Ground
New Southbank Community to Offer Luxury and Convenience

Corner Lot’s newest Southbank development, Artea, is one step closer to breaking ground after the Downtown Investment Authority unanimously supported it with an 8-0 vote. Located on four acres at the intersection of Montana Avenue and Broadcast Place, the $90 million, 340-unit, class-A multi-family development is designed to meet the high demand for residential properties in Downtown Jacksonville. The four-story building will include studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom units, a pool, multiple amenity spaces, and a roof top deck for public and private use. Being constructed in partnership with JTA, the transit-oriented development will connect to the San Marco Skyway rail station and new bike and pedestrian corridors.

Corner Lot Bringing New Hilton-flagged Home2 Suites Hotel
to Downtown's Brooklyn Neighborhood
Located in Brooklyn at 600 Park Street, the Corner Lot hotel project will include 100 rooms, a restaurant with outdoor dining, public art, trees, benches, and the redevelopment of an existing parking lot. The project further solidifies Corner Lot’s continued investment in Downtown Jacksonville. Home2 Suites is the third Corner Lot project to receive DIA approval in recent months, with additional supported projects including the Artea Apartments on the Southbank and the Johnson Commons Townhomes in Lavilla.

Parkway Place Phase I Sold in St. Johns County

Corner Lot is celebrating the sale of our first retail center development. Parkway Place Phase I at Durbin is 100% leased with tenants that include Pearle Vision, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, DEP Nails and Spa, and Sadhana Eyebrow Threading. The 6,480-square-foot commercial project sold to Parkway Place Plaza LLC. Corner Lot thanks all who helped us develop, construct, lease, and manage our first retail center. In addition, Phase I included a new Goodwill storefront, Tire Outlet, Circle K, and a My Neighborhood storage center. Phase II includes a new O'Reilly Auto Parts store and a Hardage-Giddens Event Center, while Phase III is currently under construction with a planned opening in Fall 2022.
Meet Our Team - Michael O'Neal, Vice President of Operations
Jacksonville native Michael O'Neal attended Bishop Kenny High School, graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning a scholarship to play golf at the University of North Florida. In 2008, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Chemistry. After graduation, Michael pursued his dream as a professional golfer, making the cut twice on the PGA Tour and appearing on the Web.com Tour three times. In his current role, Michael is involved with the management of Corner Lot projects, Breeze Homes properties, real estate closings, and other business finances. Outside of work, he is an avid Jacksonville Jaguars fan and loves to spend time with his wife, Kylie, and their sons, Liam and Jack.
