FHBC Coaching Conference - February 9-11 - REGISTER NOW!!

Field Hockey BC is excited to announce the official reinstatement of an in-person BC Coach Conference for 2024. Hosted at SFU in Burnaby and in collaboration with multi-sport partners, FHBC is delighted to present Field Hockey speakers and presenters from Canada, Belgium, the UK, and the USA in what promises to be both an informative and inspirational weekend. Added to this is the multi-sport opportunity to take in and hear from speakers and presenters across a number of sports representing both individual and team sport environments.

Field Hockey BC encourages all member clubs, community leagues, and community associations to support the 2024 BC Coach Conference in advocating for this opportunity within your respective coaching ranks. With a theme this year “embracing coaching at all levels”, there should be a positive learning experience for all in attendance.

For more details and to register, please check out the conference website: https://www.coachconference.org/

Also of note for clubs: If you have 5 of your club coaches sign up for the conference, you will receive $100 credit for your club for future FHBC coaching courses.

Youth National Teams - Spring Tours

Field Hockey Canada has announced rosters for Youth National Team Tours to Europe in March/April 2024. Fabulous to see so much BC representation on both rosters.

As their program is largely self funded, several of these athletes have fundraising pages set up via Field Hockey Canada's Adopt an Athlete program. If you are interested in supporting them, you can find their pages at the following link: https://fieldhockey.ca/adopt-an-athlete/
