This publication is disseminated to members of the BACnet community, connecting corporate, integrator, site, student and individual end users.
Cornerstones is a unique publication because it speaks not only to the engineer and contractor communities, but also to facility professionals, building managers and owners, and other personnel.

BACnet International Exhibiting at LIGHTFAIR 2017
BACnet International will be exhibiting at LIGHTFAIR, the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, in
Booth 660.
LIGHTFAIR is being held May 9 - 11, 2017 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Save the Date - PlugFest 2017
The BACnet International BACnet Testing Laboratories Working Group (BTL WG) invites manufacturers of BACnet products to attend the 18th annual PlugFest, an interoperability workshop at The University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.
This event permits vendors to test their BACnet products with BACnet devices from other vendors in a neutral and friendly environment. 2016 saw 80 BACnet engineers representing 37 teams in attendance, working together to improve their BACnet implementation and testing methods.
The 2017 event will run from Tuesday, September 26 through Thursday, September 28.
The BACnet Working Group will be meeting on Monday, September 25 prior to the start of PlugFest.

The BACnet Institute - Ask the Expert Forum
|

The recently launched
BACnet Institute is an
online center
for BACnet educational resources and includes two discussion forums: the User Community and the Developer Community.
The
User Community, or "Ask the Expert,"
is targeted at end users, facility operators, owner/operators and building engineers, and provides an opportunity for BACnet system users to submit BACnet-related questions to be answered by experts in the BACnet industry. Once a question is submitted a panel of experts will review the question and
come to a consensus answer. The final answer is then posted with the question in the forum.
As a first time user, you will need to create an account. Visit The BACnet Institute and click on the "Sign Up Now" link. Once logged in, select "Community" from the top navigation to view the forums.

Automated Logic Corporation and Lucid announced an alliance to create the next generation of ALC's EnergyReports™ energy analysis and reporting tool, which will make it easy for owners, operators and energy managers to monitor, manage and report on building energy performance. To achieve this, the new EnergyReports tool combines building data from ALC's powerful WebCTRL® building automation system with Lucid's industry-leading BuildingOS® cloud-based energy management platform.
With the new EnergyReports tool, building owners and operators will be able to use their WebCTRL building automation system to securely push data from a single building or a portfolio of buildings to the cloud. From there, they can create graphs, charts, reports and dashboards to visualize the building data.

New Carrier High Speed BACnet Router Offered for i-Vu® Building Automation System
Carrier is pleased to announce the newest addition to its BACnet router portfolio, the high speed i-Vu® XT BACnet router. The i-Vu XT router serves as an integral component of the i-Vu building automation system, enabling simultaneous routing between BACnet/IP, BACnet Ethernet, BACnet MS/TP and BACnet ARCnet networks while also auto-discovering the BACnet controllers on those networks.
