For employees in close proximity to the AltaMed Kitchen in Commerce:

Food staples are now available in addition to the grab-and-go items which are made fresh daily. Practice social distancing by avoiding the market and pick up some key items at the Kitchen.

Staples for the home:
  • Bread
  • Jasmine rice
  • Milk (1/2 gallon)
  • Raw eggs (6-pack)
  • Pinto beans (6 lbs.)
  • Sugar (1 lb.)
  • Toilet paper and paper towels

Fresh grab-and-go items:
  • Breakfast items: breakfast burritos, cereal, milk, boiled eggs
  • Lunch items: sandwiches and salads
  • Snacks: fruit cups, yogurt parfaits, hummus, bagels and cream cheese

Come by any time to purchase available items at the kiosk. Lights may be off in the kitchen when there is no motion in the dining area, but the lights will come on immediately upon entry. Employees may not gather in the Kitchen to dine or socialize. Employees may access the kitchen for grab-and-go items only; once an employee pays for an item at the kiosk, the employee must leave the space. This is a temporary process that is put in place to comply with social distancing.
