May 4 Virtual Town Hall Worth 50 LiveWell Points

Yesterday, we shared news of our next virtual town hall: Mindfulness: Turn Anxiety into Resilience. The one-hour session, beginning 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, will discuss methods for coping with stress, supporting self-awareness with guided mindfulness, and better supporting yourself and others. Employees who join the session will now be eligible for 50 LiveWell points through Vitality.

Testing Now Available to All LA County Residents

Yesterday, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that COVID-19 testing is now available to all residents of Los Angeles County, with or without symptoms. Priority for same- or next-day testing will still be given to people with symptoms, as well as:

  • First responders
  • Critical government personnel
  • Health care professionals
  • Grocery workers
  • Delivery, rideshare, and public transit drivers
  • Credentialed members of the media
  • Construction workers
AltaMed Receives Donation of Surgical Masks

Today, at our Corporate office, we held a press conference to celebrate a partnership among the Chinese American Federation, the BizFed Institute, and Assemblywoman Wendy Carrillo, who have come together to donate 50,000 surgical masks to frontline workers at AltaMed, SEIU CA, and additional local community clinics.
