WEAR FACIAL COVERINGS.
STORES, BEGGING YOU!
RESIDENTS, BEGGING YOU!

We issued an Emergency Declaration urging residents and stores to use facial coverings.

TOO MANY ARE IGNORING THIS

MANY RESIDENTS ARE EMAILING ME ASKING FOR THIS TO MANDATORY

Please, know we may have to.

But enforcement is tough.

We do not want to close more businesses who cannot assist.

We do not want to stop people from doing essential shopping because they are not wearing homemade facial covering.

Some say they do not have or seniors do not know how to make even though can make at home (and we are not in a position to have mass distribution).

We do NOT want to expose our police officers and code officers to enforcement confrontations against people who refuse to wear facial coverings.

We do NOT want to create personal conflict and arguments when people are refused entry.

But, the refusal to wear facial coverings will only create more transmission and
extend the economic and personal pain in our community by not stopping the spread.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.
STORES. RESIDENTS.

AND HOW TO MAKE AT HOME!

Out on your walks and bike rides? If you are going to be near others and cannot physically distance yourself on your walks, WEAR FACIAL COVERING.

SBA PREFERRED LENDERS
Click below for SBA preferred lenders that have branches in the City of Sunrise and that are currently accepting applications for the Paycheck Protection Program.

Please click here to see the full list of preferred SBA Lenders for the Payment Protection Program (PPP).

Not all banks on this list are located in Sunrise but many are.

The PPP program officially launched this past Friday so many banks that are not SBA preferred lenders are still registering to participate in the program.

Before you select a bank from the list, I would suggest that you call your bank first and ask if they are participating in the PPP.

It is always best to use the bank that you have a relationship with.
