SUNRISE IS A FAMILY
During this difficult time, we have seen our Sunrise Family (residents, businesses, workers and even former residents) do what is necessary to protect our front-line workers, and save our families.
At the same time, we know there is so much pain.
Grieving for lost family and friends,
through funerals and sitting Shiva,
has been altered - worldwide.
Celebrating Passover with traditional Seders, gathering distant family and friends,
has been altered – worldwide.
Celebrating Easter tomorrow
will also be altered – worldwide.
Friends and family are separated.
Many have lost their jobs or
worry about losing their businesses.
So, turns out physical distancing is an act of LOVE
We know this will help.
Show your love, compassion and empathy for
our community by sacrificing and remembering –
we are FAMILY even to those we have not yet met.
As reported why physical distancing is important, in Chicago at "two events in February — a funeral and a birthday party — one person with covid-19 sliced through unwitting friends and family members, leaving at least 16 people infected and at least three dead."
