One Person Can Make a Difference

I received an inspiring quote from Claudia.

“I believe that one individual who is determined to make a difference in the world, can, with desire, drive, dedication, discipline, passion, and persistence. The world can be altered and billions of people’s lives can be impacted positively in an unimaginable way.”

Thank you Claudia!

We all need to be reminded that we each have
the capacity to change the world.

CHANGE THE WORLD BY
WITH
Love. Compassion. Empathy

AND, staying home, washing hands, practicing physical distancing and wearing facial covering when you go out.

That is our duty – be disciplined to make a difference!
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

Wanna see an inspiring idea of a 17-year-old who cared so much about the pain in our community?

He came up with an idea, gathered people together and helped launch a project to help struggling restaurants and need families at the same time ….

YOUNG-AT-HEART SENDING LOVE TO THE CITY

I receive so many emails each day with
inspiring stories and messages.

Each is precious to me!

I figured I would just spotlight one of the many
I could have shown you.

Bob. I received a lovely email from Bob, 97-years-young and a veteran of WWII and Korea.

We thank Bob and all those who served and sacrificed to protect our liberties and free peoples from oppression.

A member of the greatest generation called upon to sacrifice so much, again called upon to sacrifice today.

He emailed me that he is in excellent health and his friend in the building is also in excellent health.

He wrote me to say he doesn’t need any assistance. Just to say he loves where he lives and the City of Sunrise, with all that our staff is doing to make a difference.

Thanks Bob!

We have an amazing City team who sincerely care about this community and are meeting the mission of showing Love, Compassion, and Empathy for and to all those impacted.

Remember, our Sunrise Compassion Call Center is
