Can I Still Place Holds?
Patrons can request items at Lowell.mvlc.org by logging into their account or by calling 978-674-1544 to place holds with the Reference Department. Please be advised that you can only request holds for materials that are currently owned by the Pollard Memorial Library and in our building at this time.

How Can I Get Materials?
Limited holds pickup will be allowed via the Colburn Street door. You can contact the Library to place holds as well as let us know when you plan to pick them up. When you arrive, you’ll need to call 978-674-1530 for staff to deliver them to the Colburn Street entrance. Hold pickups are limited to available items currently in the Library or those owned by the Pollard Memorial Library ONLY. This service availability may change so please check our website and social media for updates on availability.

Can I Get Materials from Other Libraries/The Senior Center?
Delivery between libraries has been suspended. Only Pollard Memorial Library items (Main Library) are available. The Senior Center Branch will not be staffed until City buildings are once again open to the public.

What If I Want to Return Items?
You can return all library items to our book & media drop boxes located on Colburn Street at the Main Library at 401 Merrimack Street.

Please be advised that the items will be collected and then placed in quarantine for a few days, so please be patient if they do not immediately clear from your account.

If I Am Social Distancing, What Can I Do?
Our digital branch is always open. Ebooks, audiobooks, streaming movies and music are just a click away at LowellLibrary.org. Also, we have posted on our website some suggestions for adults and for families that will be updated regularly for ideas as to how to entertain yourself when social distancing.
