Dear MTC Family,

This afternoon, Governor Henry McMaster closed South Carolina schools and colleges through March 31. Alternative instruction will start at MTC on March 23. We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we work to navigate this unprecedented time. Students and employees should be on the lookout for future communications and guidance. For now, here are the key points to know:

Students:
•   Registration will not open tomorrow.
•   Students should not come to campus if they had previous appointments.
•   All off-campus activities, such as clinicals and labs, are all canceled.

Employees:
•   Faculty and staff are asked to report to work on Monday, March 16 in order to adjust and enact our operating plans for the remainder of the month.

Everyone, if you believe you have been exposed to the coronavirus, please contact your health care provider and stay home.

As a reminder, students who believe they have been exposed to the coronavirus or are showing symptoms should stay home, and call the Student Coronavirus Contact Line at 803.732.5201.
