Guidance

We know how important it is for members to start preparing to reopen - We have been pressing the Welsh Government to publish the guidance asap so that our businesses have time to get all necessary measures in place.

In the meantime, we have attached the 'draft' version of the Self Catering / Holiday Home sector guidance below - Although this has been prepared for Self Catering / Holiday Home Sector there will be elements which will apply to all sectors.

P lease be aware that this may change or additional guidance added.
Important things to note...

  • Although accommodation availability can now be opened up from 13th July onwards, please be aware that this date dependant on Covid-19 infection rates remaining low.

  • There has been discussion over the last few weeks regarding 'local lockdowns' . If this occurs it may mean that although visitors have booked with you, they may still be unable to visit if they are subject to local lockdowns in their own area. Please bear this in mind and ensure you have reviewed your booking terms & conditions carefully and update if you need to make changes.

  • Cleaning Products - Please be aware that not all cleaning products are made equally and that most supermarket cleaners are NOT effective against COVID - please see page 11 of the guidance notes for more detail.
