Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians;
We are receiving feedback that some students and families may be unclear about which students will be allowed to remain on campus following the suspension of on-campus classes and the move to online learning earlier today.
Please be advised that the School will only be allowing students who cannot travel home or have no other travel and housing options at this time to return and remain on campus until they can make alternate arrangements. All other boarding students will only be allowed to enter campus to pick up necessary items if they need to do so before traveling home.
The purpose of this action is to slow the spread of Coronavirus and keep our community healthy by reducing the number of students and faculty on campus as much as possible. As a general rule, if a student is able to go or stay home, they should do just that. However, we do understand that special circumstances may exist, and that some may feel that remaining on campus is a safer option than traveling home, so we ask that students and families contact the Dean’s Office to discuss their specific situations.
Thank you once again for your continued support in protecting the health of our community and please let us know as soon as possible of your plans.

Jonathan W.R. Lamb, Head of School
