Rye YMCA Coronavirus Policy Clarification

In light of new information, we want to clarify our policy regarding use of the Rye YMCA.

For the protection of all, please DO NOT come to the Y or participate in any of our offsite programs (including Wainwright House) if:
  • you have traveled in the last 14 days to a country for which the CDC has issued a Level 3 travel designation (currently several countries in Europe, South Korea, Iran, Italy, China, Japan) 
  • you have had any contact with a person with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 within the last 14 days
  • you are sick for any reason
  • any member of your household attends or works at a school, house of worship or other organization that has closed due to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19
If any member of your household attends or works at a school, house of worship or other organization that has closed for pre-emptive reasons only, you may use the Rye Y.

We apologize for any confusion. As you know, this is uncharted territory and is evolving on a daily, if not hourly, basis. 

We are continuing to take precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus at our facility, including frequent and thorough cleaning of all equipment and surfaces, regular communication with our members, and monitoring of all advisories from public health agencies.
