Cabarrus County NC Pre-K Update

In response to the State of Emergency regarding the Coronavirus, Cabarrus Partnership for Children, Cabarrus County Schools and Kannapolis City Schools McKnight Head Start, will be changing our process for taking Pre-K applications for the 2020-21 school year.

Until further notice, we will no longer take applications face to face. Anyone wanting to submit an application for one of our Pre-K programs can call one of the phone numbers listed at the link below to get information about how to access the application.

Urgent Child Care Services

If you are a parent who provides necessary services to, or cares for, members of our communities and your child care has fallen through or is unavailable because of COVID-19 closures, call 1-888-600-1685 to be connected with the right fit for you and your child. At this time, representatives are available to assist you on weekdays, 8am-5pm.
