The Coronavirus has already chan ged many aspects of our lives. As more and more businesses are following the U.S. Center for Disease Control advise, Governor’s Executive Orders and Broward County Emergency Orders to temporarily close their doors to minimize the spread of the virus, small businesses and employees are already feeling the impact.

Our first defense in our fight against the spread of the Coronavirus is to avoid the virus by practicing proper hand washing and safe distance.

Our second defense is getting tested for the virus. Coronavirus testing sites are now open for specific individuals. See below for details, including hours of operations and to determine who can get tested at these facilities:

Pembroke Pines:   Memorial Healthcare, the Florida National Guard   and the Florida Department of Health will staff a multi-lane mobile coronavirus test site.

Appointments are not required, but patients must be in a car and carrying valid ID, and they will be screened at the entrance. Priority will be given to healthcare workers, first responders and people 65 and older who are showing symptoms of the new coronavirus.

Hardrock Stadium: The state of Florida drive-thru testing site in the east parking lot at Hard Rock Stadium.
347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, FL

Hours:9 a.m. - 5 p.m. for those who are 65 or older and who have COVID-19 symptoms and all first responders and healthcare workers, who do not need to be symptomatic to be tested. Nurses will screen people for eligibility and those who don’t meet the criteria will be turned away. Test results will be available in about 48 to 72 hours.
