CRISP Reporting Service - Important Portal Update

The CRS team is in the final stages of development of an overhaul of the CRS Portal website and will release these changes on July 17th. The new design condenses the multiple report blue title option into eight categories and operates similar to a folder finder structure (all eight may not populate for each user depending on user type). Reports may rest within multiple categories to avoid confusion. Please review the following materials to understand the key feature changes of this portal redesign.

Medicare Report Updates - July 2020

Monthly Report Updates:
The following reports have been updated with May claims data on July 10th:

  • Maryland Primary Care Program Reports (MDPCP)
  • CCLF Medicare Analytics & Data Engine (MADE)
  • MADE: ECIP View
  • Medicare Performance Adjustment (MPA) Monitoring Reports

MPA Monitoring Reports Year 3:
A new report has been adding the MPA Monitoring Reports - Tab 8 MPA Estimated Reward (Penalty) Calculator. Please refer to the updated MPA Y3 Monitoring Reports User Guide for more information.

Delay in Receipt of CCW Data for Use in MPA Y3 Reports
There has been a delay in the release of the full CCW data from CMS. These data are required when updating select metrics in the MPA Y3 Reports. While the national trends throughout the reports have been updated, several metrics continue to reflect January 2020 amounts (including all SAMHSA-related measures). These include 'Suppressed Substance Abuse Costs' in Specialized Drill Downs 1A-1 and 'SAMHSA Cost Delivered at Hospital' (column 8) of the Tab 8 MPA Reward (Penalty) Calculator measures.  All the hospital level data, other than SAMHSA-related costs, come from CCLF and are not impacted.

The reporting suite will be updated – and users will be informed – as soon as the full CCW data is made available. As a reminder, since only two months of data are captured in YTD reporting (January-February 2020), the results are expected to change significantly and stabilize over time.

MADE - Sunset of 9 User Defined Fields
The below User Defined Fields have been removed from Population Navigator in MADE as of July 10th. If this change impacted any workflows or if you have questions, please contact Daniel Rosenzweig at Dan@hMetrix.com
