Coronavirus Update
March 20, 2020
Beloved Trinity Church Family,
As our community and the world around us face increasing uncertainty, concern, and fear, there is no better place to be than in communion and fellowship with God’s people - our brothers and sisters in Christ - encouraging one another by reflecting together daily on the love and sovereignty and goodness of our gracious Lord.
Though for now we are unable to meet together in person for our Sunday worship and midweek ministries, that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to come together around the Word of God. As we said in
our email to you this past Tuesday
, “A church isn’t a building you walk into, it’s a family you belong to.” As much as we long to continue to physically gather together at this time, we know that our worship, fellowship, equipping for ministry, and caring for one another isn’t confined to our church campus.
As you know, changes regarding the status of the COVID-19 situation are occurring daily. As new information develops, we will continue to keep you updated with answers to questions you may have regarding our congregation’s life and ministry, including:
HOW WILL WE CONTINUE TO WORSHIP TOGETHER?
Our pastors, elders, and worship team will be leading us in worship and speaking God’s Word to us
via broadcast
this coming Sunday and each Sunday in the weeks to come, until we are able to gather together again. We encourage you and your family to set aside time this Sunday to worship with us in your home as we continue to praise and honor our Lord Jesus through song and the preaching of His Word.

HOW CAN I CONTACT OUR PASTORS, DEACONS, AND OTHER STAFF IF I HAVE A NEED?
Our pastoral care and administrative teams continue to do the essential work needed to care for the needs of our congregation. Each of our pastors and staff are readily available to respond to those who are in need of prayer, pastoral care, and physical assistance. Though we are “socially distancing” physically, we are increasing our availability and connection virtually.
For contact info for ministry leadership staff, visit our
Staff webpage
.
HOW CAN I SUBMIT A PRAYER REQUEST?
In addition to the ways listed above, we also encourage you to fill out the prayer request form below, and a member of our staff will follow up with you as soon as possible.
HOW CAN I SERVE AND SHARE IN OUR MINISTRY OF CARING DURING THIS TIME?
The scripture calls us to “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). During this time of increasing concern and need, we want to be faithful in caring for those in need. As we become aware of the needs of those in our church family and beyond, we will be providing ministry opportunities for those who let us know they are willing to serve with the love and kindness of our Savior. If you want to know how you can help and serve, email
BFrazier@trinitycc.com
.
HOW CAN I CONTINUE TO GIVE MY OFFERING?
Thank you for asking! One of the most practical and important ways you can serve and support our church’s ministry during this time is to be faithful and generous in your financial giving to Trinity. If you’re not already doing so, we encourage you to be an online giver. Our financial support and commitments to our hard-working staff as well as our local and global partners in missions continue unchanged, so your continued faithfulness in giving is vital. Please let our staff know if you have any questions regarding your giving and/or visit our
Giving page
for more information.
HOW SHOULD I RESPOND TO COVID-19?
Though situations like these can stir up fear and anxiety, we know from God’s Word that He is good and faithful and sovereign over all things, and our ultimate hope and confidence is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. Although for now we won’t be gathering on our campus for worship and other fellowship and equipping events, we encourage you to stay connected to us and others in our church family through calls, texts, and online communication and engagement. And please remember to pray daily for those affected by this virus, and that this situation will cause hearts to open and respond to the Gospel.
