Coronavirus Update 12/7/20
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the #saveCTrestaurants campaign so far! We encourage you to continue sharing your photos and videos via social media using the campaign hashtags.
In the coming days and weeks, we'll use this campaign to highlight stories of local restaurant owners, stress the importance of these employers as a backbone of local economies throughout the state, and urge elected officials to support an industry that employed more than 160,000 people before the pandemic.
In addition to photo and video sharing, we encourage everyone to continue sharing the CRA's call to action to Governor Lamont by texting SAVECTRESTAURANTS to 52886 or by submitting the letter via the link below. We've already had more than 1800 people take action and we hope to see this number grow!

AHLA Update - AHLA, Coalition Push for Cleaning Tax Credit
As part of the Clean Start Coalition, AHLA signed a letter addressed to President-Elect Joe Biden urging him to support the inclusion of a “healthy workplace” tax credit in the next federal stimulus package to protect the safety of workers, customers, and the public.
The Coalition maintains that a “healthy workplace” tax credit is essential in helping our economy reopen safely and restoring confidence with workers, customers, and the American public. It would ensure that businesses and nonprofits already struggling financially can cover a portion of these critical, yet unexpected expenses related to COVID-19.
The letter was signed by over 40 organizations representing millions of employees and many millions more customers who all share the common goal of helping people feel comfortable entering buildings, places of work, and related facilities.
