Update
NOTIFICATION TO RESIDENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES

Dear Gilpin Hall Family,

We are pleased to announce that the single resident that we earlier reported as positive in our June 6th update has since been re-tested for COVID twice, and has tested negative on both of these follow-up tests.

As a result, we consider the first test as a false positive and as of today, June 10th, we remain COVID-19 naive.

No residents are COVID-19 positive today.

Additionally, we have been testing staff and to date we have tested 154 staff members and received results for 110, which are all negative. We are awaiting the results for the remaining baseline tests.

Your support, donations and patience in these difficult times has meant so much to our residents and staff.

Together, our efforts have been effective.

Our team remains committed to following DPH, CDC and CMS guidelines to screen all who enter the facility, turn away anyone who is symptomatic or tests positive and to adapt our procedures to prevent the transmission to the best of our ability.
