Rye YMCA Coronavirus Update
As the number of COVID-19 cases grows in Westchester County, we want to remind you of the following Rye YMCA policies, postponements and cancellations:
  • If your child or another member of your household attends a school or organization that has closed due to possible exposure to the coronavirus, please have all family members refrain from visiting the Rye Y until that organization re-opens.
  • If you are sick from any illness, please stay home.
  • The Cardboard Boat Regatta, scheduled for Friday, March 13, has been postponed. The tentative new date is April 24.
  • LIVESTRONG at the YMCA classes for this week have been cancelled. Participants will be notified about future classes.
  • The "Beyond Tater Tots: How to Raise Healthy Kids and Save the Planet through Better School Lunches" community forum scheduled for March 31 has been postponed. A new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
We are continuing to take precautions to prevent the spread of coronavirus at our facility, including frequent and thorough cleaning of all equipment and surfaces, regular communication with our members, and monitoring of all advisories from public health agencies. For a detailed description of our efforts, please click here.   For the latest and most up-to-date information on the coronavirus, please visit the CDC website.

Finally, the spread of the coronavirus is an evolving situation. Please check your email for updates, including new event and/or program postponements or cancellations. As always, our highest priority is your health and safety.
