You have read and heard, no doubt, about the outbreak of Coronavirus in the Peoples Republic of China which has resulted in documented cases in several other countries including the U.S.A.
The health and safety of our school community is our top priority. Current information suggests 'watchfulness but not alarm.'
Experts suggest
frequent handwashing
as the best defense against both Coronovirus and the flu. While there is no vaccine for this brand new Coronavirus, the flu vaccine is still available and recommended by the ADPH and the CDC.
The
State Department
has issued a level 3 (reconsider travel) advisory for China and a level 4 (do not travel) for Hubei Province. We would appreciate an
email notification
if your family has returned from China since January 1 or has a trip planned to China in 2020.
