The mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School is to nurture every child by providing the opportunities to grow in faith, achieve academic success, and serve others as disciples of Jesus
Dear Parents,

As we enter this Advent Season, let us remember that Advent is a time of expectant waiting, hopeful anticipation, and cheerful preparation. During this time of waiting, we have much to do! While there are presents to buy and decorations to hang, there are even more important things to focus on. We need to make sure we are ready to welcome Jesus. During this busy time of the year, may we remember to put our focus on the birth of Jesus and prepare our hearts for this wonderful gift of Christmas.
Reconciliation Service
Join us for a community reconciliation service tonight (12/3) at 7:00 p.m. During this service our 2nd grade students will participate for the first time in this Holy Sacrament. We are very proud of the preparation they have received from their teachers. Our students in grades 3-8 will receive the opportunity to participate in Reconciliation next week during school hours.
Bible Verse of the Month
Our Bible verse focus for the month of December is John 13:35

“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

The prayer we will focus on is the Glory Be.

We would love for you to practice the verse with your children at home.
Bully Blocker Program
Representatives from the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office will be on campus this week sharing their Bully Blocker program with our students. Students in K-5 grades were presented information today, and middle school students will participate in the program on Thursday afternoon.
Morning Carpool Reminders
Remember that at 7:20 a.m., our carpool supervision begins. Students should be dropped off in the carpool line. Parents should not be pulling through our main parking lot at this time, and students are not allowed to be dropped off in our main lot after 7:20 a.m. If you need to walk with your student, you are asked to park behind the rectory. These guidelines are in place for the safety of our students.

Angel Tree Deadline
Monday, Dec. 10 is the deadline to have the gifts in the vestibule. Our (multiple) Angel Tree is in the vestibule. Each Angel Tag represents a child with their clothing size, need and wish for the season. What is listed on the tag may help you select a gift or gifts; the choice is yours as to what is actually purchased; the only thing asked is that any gift be age appropriate. All gifts must be new and UNWRAPPED and “tagged” with the Code Number. The Code Number is printed on the upper part of the Angel and also on the stub at the bottom part of the Angel. There are two options for tagging the gifts: 1. Large clear plastic bags, tags and ties are provided for gifts that can fit in the bag; the stub (with the Code Number) from the Angel should be placed inside the bag, and the opening of the bag should be closed with the tie and a tag with the Code Number on it. 2. Gifts that can’t fit in the bag should be labeled either with the Angel tag with the Code Number on it, or with a blank tag with the Code Number written on it. Please return gifts either to the church vestibule or to The Salvation Army.
