Dear Parents,

I hope you enjoyed the Mardi Gras holidays. As we enter Lent, we strive to strengthen our relationship with Jesus. Our teachers have wonderful Lenten activities planned for our students over the next few weeks.

I want to share with you information about events happening this weekend at our church and school.

Lenten Fish Fry - tomorrow!

Our PTO donates their funds towards the mission of the school by helping to fund technology, recreational, educational, and maintenance needs. Our students and teachers are so thankful for all that they do for us. Most recently, they arranged to have our school campus professionally power washed and it looks wonderful!

The weekly Lenten Fish Fry is one of their biggest fundraisers and allows our PTO to be able to support our school in many ways. They are in need of volunteers, so please consider choosing a week to help out!

Funds for Nurse Sandy Daigle

Our school nurse, Mrs. Sandy Daigle, has been taking care of the health needs of students at Corpus Christi since 2000. As many of you are aware, she is currently battling cancer. Unfortunately, she has had to miss much work due to her cancer treatments and the side effects she is enduring from those treatments. This lapse in working has created a financial hardship for Mrs. Daigle, along with the personal financial obligation to ensure continued insurance coverage. Teachers will be hosting a bake sale and "Split the Pot Raffle" at the Fish Fry this Friday night. All proceeds will go to help cover her insurance coverage costs.

Crawfish for Cougars

Our Booster club helps maintain our gym and field. This year they have also allocated funds to help with maintenance and building needs within our school campus. You can support our Booster Club by attending their Crawfish for Cougars event this Saturday, 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the event or you can purchase tickets tomorrow. Red Ribbon Project

As part of her duties as our school’s 2018-2019 Red Ribbon leader, Anna Grace Sparks has organized a school-wide project. Please see the details below. We are proud of Anna Grace and the leadership she has given to our students in promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
