The mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School is to nurture every child by providing the opportunities to grow in faith, achieve academic success, and serve others as disciples of Jesus
Dear Parents,

It will soon be Thanksgiving, a time when we will gather with family and friends and express gratitude and give thanks for all that we have been given. On behalf of the faculty and staff at Corpus Christi Catholic School, I want to express our gratitude for our students who come to school every day ready to learn.  We are also thankful for the support of our school families who contribute so much to our school.
Bible Verse of the Month
Each month students learn a Bible Verse. We recite it together during our morning prayers. Our Bible verse focus for the month of November is:

Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God”

Our prayer focus is The Memorare.

We would love for you to practice the verse with your children at home.
Thanksgiving Baskets
We are collecting non-perishable, Thanksgiving food items for baskets that are made and delivered throughout our local community. Please see the attached list of items being collected. Items should be brought in by Friday November 16.  Each child will be participating in the offertory at Mass for these items on November 20. If you would like to also make a monetary donation to aid our parish in purchasing items, that would be welcomed. We are such a generous community; let's do our part to fill the baskets!

Toy Bowl & Pep Rally
We are proud of the 8th grade students that will be representing us Saturday, November 10 at the 71st annual Toy Bowl as members of the Toy Bowl Court. There will be a Toy Bowl pep rally on Friday, November 9 at 2:00. Please join us as we celebrate a successful fall sport season, recognize our Toy Bowl Court, and athletes that will be representing us during the Toy Bowl.

Box of Joy Project
Once again we are participating in the Cross Catholic Outreach Box of Joy program in conjunction with our parish and our Archdiocese.  For the 4th year in a row, Corpus Christi is joining Catholics nationwide in this important work of mercy. By packing a Christmas gift box and sponsoring the cost of its shipment, we can deliver a Box of Joy to these children who would otherwise receive nothing. You may have already heard from your child’s teacher, explaining how your student’s class will participate. Boxes are also available in our Parish if you would like to fill one as a family. You may access the following link to learn more about the Box of Joy program:

The Archdiocese of Mobile has joined with arch/dioceses throughout the country to participate in the third-annual #iGiveCatholic Giving Day. We will celebrate this day of Catholic giving on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, also known as #GivingTuesday. Corpus Christi Catholic School believes in the generosity of Catholics in our archdiocese and are excited to be participating in this event.  The money raised during the #iGiveCatholic campaign will be used to support the school's annual fund. Specific allocations for the funds raised during #GivingTuesday, include enhancements to our technology program and facility upgrades for the school. More information about making a donation can be found on their website: #iGiveCatholic
