The Cougar Connection
The mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School is to nurture every child by providing the opportunities to grow in faith, achieve academic success, and serve others as disciples of Jesus
July 2021
Dear Families,

I hope all of our students are continuing to enjoy their summer vacation. Many of our teachers have been busy attending professional development workshops, while our custodial staff has been busy making needed improvements to our school buildings and grounds. We look forward to welcoming back our students on August 18.  Please look for an email the first week of August containing class placement and other important information.

We are looking forward to a great 2021-2022 school year!
Sincerely,
Consumable Books
Our two official book vendors are M & M Books and More and Campus Bookstore. Each vendor carries the required consumable books. The deadline to order from M & M Books and More is July 31st.
Language Arts Book Order
The Archdiocese adopted a new language arts/reading series last year. Students in grades K-5 use myView published by Pearson. Students in grades 6-8 use myPerspectives, which is also published by Pearson. The book is a consumable text and workbook combined. Based on the number of texts purchased, our school receives free teacher resources for the life of the adoption. In order to continue to ensure that we receive the appropriate student and teacher resources for the number of texts purchased, you must continue to purchase the book directly through the school. We certainly want our school to continue to receive the appropriate resources.

The cost of the language arts/reading books for all grade levels is $30.00/each.
Payment is due Monday, August 16.

The order form is found HERE. Please return the completed form and payment to the school.
Book and Supply lists
Our summer packet that includes book and supply lists and uniform information is available on the school's website and it is linked below. The required reading projects are also available on the school's website.

Our books can be purchased from two vendors, M & M Books and More or The Campus Bookstore. Contact information for both vendors is provided in the summer packet. However, the language arts books must be ordered through the school. The order form is in the packet as well. Lastly, since the majority of our textbooks are consumable, the only books that can be resold or passed along to others are the 3-8 grade Social Studies books as well as the 8th-grade Algebra textbook.

Required Summer Reading
Instructions for summer reading projects can be found on the school's website at the link below.

FACTS Tuition Management
As a reminder, we will be utilizing a new tuition management program, FACTS, to receive payments for the 21-22 school year. All families are required to make an account with this program. Academic and assessment fees are due in July so it is imperative that you create an account if you have not already done so. The link to FACTS is below.

Please note that if you used the FACTS program previously to apply for financial assistance, you may use the same login information. Please contact the school office if you have any questions.

**Keep in mind when you sign up, the tuition rate will reflect the non-tithing rate for the upcoming year. In July, when the parish confirms with us those families that have met their tithing obligation, that rate will be changed.
Edukits
Our school offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for busy families to order school supplies for the 2021/2022 year. EduKits include the supplies approved by our school.

The final deadline to order is Wednesday, July 21. An additional fee will be applied and the Edukit will be delivered to your home shortly before school begins.

New Lunch Program
As we've mentioned before, we have a new lunch program this year. It will be managed by the company WeLunchIt.com. More information and instructions for setting up an account will be sent to families soon.
