October 12, 2020
Dear Families,

Monday marked the beginning of the 2nd quarter. We are so proud of how diligent our students have worked during this past quarter. Report cards will be uploaded to the Rediker Plus Portals Friday afternoon; a paper copy will not be sent home. In order to view the report card, please use the following steps:
  1. Upon logging into the portal, click on the E-Locker on the orange toolbar at the top of the page.
  2. Once opened, click on E-Portfolio
  3. You will be able to find report cards here. Make sure you choose the report card labeled First Quarter Report Card 2020-2021 School year.
  4. You may download the PDF file and save /print it for your records.

We know the 2nd quarter will be as successful as the first!
Sincerely,
Parent Conferences
We will be unable to hold our normal report card conferences (K-8) in the same manner as we have in the past. However, each teacher and team has been making an effort to plan how to meet virtually with any parents who wish to do so. While the original report card conference date is set for Monday, October 19, additional evenings may be added to accommodate scheduling. Please look for information from your students’ homeroom teacher concerning how these will be held/scheduled at your child’s grade level.
Bible Verse
Each month students learn a Bible verse and recite it together during our morning prayers. We also pray a particular prayer each month. During the month of October, we will learn:

Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Our prayer focus is The Memorare.

We would love for you to work with your students at home to learn this verse and prayer.
Make-up School Pictures
If your student was unable to have their picture taken on our school picture day, there will be a makeup session on October 22. (Middle school students should wear mass uniform).
Boxes of Joy
As an early Christmas service project, our Archdiocese participates in Cross Catholic's Box of Joy campaign. For many poor children around the world, a box of joy filled with toys, school supplies, healthcare products, a rosary, and the story of Jesus, is the only gift they may receive. You can read more about the Box of Joy Project and view videos of children opening their boxes of joy here:

Our 8th-grade students will help organize and pack boxes for our school. Each class has been assigned a different item to bring.
