Nominations, submissions, certifications, and registrations are now open for the 189th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, where we will gather to celebrate how we shine our light in the world, individually, as congregations, and as a diocese.
Like last year, the convention will be a two-day, hybrid event conducted in two parts. Part 1 will be held on Zoom on Tuesday, November 10, at 6:30 pm. Part 2 will take place on Saturday, November 14, 9 am-4:30 pm, at Cliffbreakers Event Center in Rockford.

Las nominaciones, presentaciones, certificaciones e inscripciones ya están abiertas para la 189ª Convención de la Diócesis Episcopal de Chicago, donde nos reuniremos para celebrar cómo iluminamos el mundo, individualmente, como congregaciones y como Diócesis.
Al igual que el año pasado, la convención será un evento híbrido de dos días que se llevará a cabo en dos partes. La Parte 1 se celebrará por Zoom el Martes 10 de Noviembre, de 6:30PM a aproximadamente 9:00PM. La Parte 2 tendrá lugar el Sábado 14 de Noviembre, de 9:00AM a 4:30PM, en el Cliffbreakers Event Center en Rockford.

Convention Registration & Certification
Episcopalians of all ages (starting at birth!) are invited to join us for the big diocesan celebration that we call convention. Submit your registration by September 30 at a cost of $55 per attendee.

Even if you are not a delegate to convention, you are invited to join us as a volunteer. Your support is critical to helping convention run smoothly.
Volunteer Interest
Indicate your interest in serving as an event volunteer by completing the form here.
Volunteers attend free of charge. They may help with hospitality, registration, Eucharist, voting, or other roles as needed. Volunteers must not be delegates at the convention, as they must be available for roles before and during convention Eucharist, as well as business sessions.

If Cliffbreakers is too far for a day trip, we have reserved a room block at a discounted rate.
A block of rooms at the Riverview Inn & Suites attached to Cliffbreakers Event Center is available for Friday night at the rate of $121/room.
The room rate includes breakfast and parking.
