Corrected Version: Celebrating Recovery Month

Breaking Barriers, Building Futures

In honor of National Recovery Month, we’re spotlighting how Insight Human Services is advancing family-centered recovery through two powerful programs: theWomen and Infant Services for Health (WISH) program and their newly renovated Children’s Care Center.

On September 9 Insight hosted an open house to celebrate the relaunch of its on-site Children’s Care Center in Winston-Salem. The Center now offers Child Watch services Monday- Friday from 7:00-1:00 p.m., helping parents overcome one of the most persistent barriers to treatment: childcare.

The event also celebrated the success of the WISH program, a gender-specific outpatient treatment program for pregnant and postpartum women, including those parenting children under 18 and those seeking reunification. WISH offers trauma-informed therapy, case management, psychiatric care, and medication-assisted treatment. With transportation and on-site childcare provided, WISH is accessible to families across North Carolina.

Together, these programs reflect a holistic, evidence-based approach to recovery that supports the whole family and builds stronger, healthier futures.
