Changes for 2022 General Convention

The 80th General Convention of the Episcopal Church is being redesigned to be a "shorter, smaller, safer" gathering this summer.

General Convention meets every three years and brings clergy and lay people together from around the world to do the business of the Episcopal Church.

Concerns over rising COVID infection numbers led church leaders to shorten the convention and limit attendance. It was originally scheduled to be held July 7-14. The new dates are July 8-11.
