The City of Yorba Linda will be making safety modifications to our programs to help mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 between individuals, including City staff, participants, and instructors. These modifications are based on the guidance of the CDC, State of California, and County of Orange Health Care Agency. Before attending any scheduled Parks & Recreation program, participants will be asked to "self-screen" themselves or their child to ensure they are not experiencing symptoms identified by the most recent CDC guidance. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19 and should not attend the activity:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever (temperature over 100.4 F)
  • Chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

In addition, per the order of the Orange County Health Officer, all individuals over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask when entering City facilities, including those participating in recreation programs.
