The history of a legendary Tenderloin nightclub comes alive with a one-night event at the Great American Music Hall on Wednesday, April 23. Historian Michael Flanagan will recall Club 181’s epic history live onstage, in an evening that includes memorable guest interviews, spectacular performances, and much more!

San Francisco jazz legend Veronica Klaus headlines, with a set in homage to her time at Club 181, accompanied by the Tammy L. Hall Quintet. Guest performers include Connie Champagne, who will revisiting her Valley of the Dolls role as Neely O'Hara. Special appearances by: Lambert Moss, DJ Myles Cooper, Rev. Dr. Megan Roher, Sun Ra's Space Is the Place. Tributes from: Phillip R. Ford on Doris Fish & the Sluts-A Go-Go, Ms. Bob Davis on Lynne Carter, Collette Le Grand on Vicki Marlane, Leigh Crow & Kitten on the Keys pay tribute of Arturo Galster.

We are collecting drag & gender affirming items for Cuba.

In addition to the financial & medical donations that we always bring, this year we are collecting wigs, female clothing, costume jewelry, make-up (new), and accessories for the Trans and drag community. Most Cubans live on or near the poverty level, Trans and drag expressive people simply cannot afford these items. 

We will be taking the items to Cuba on our 10th annual Rainbow World Fund humanitarian aid trip May 7-17. The items will arrive in time for Cuba's Pride celebrations. 

Time: Sunday, May 4 from 12-4 PM
