Please accept our apologies. The previous newsletter contained a mistake in the amount of financial assistance distributed for transportation. In FY21-22 the Pink Fund distributed $187,446.23 in transportation assistance to breast cancer patients in treatment.
A NOTE FROM MOLLY
Happy New Year! To us. July 1st marks the beginning of a new FISCAL year at the Pink Fund.

It is that time when we both reflect on the past and plan for the future.

I am excited to announce that thanks to our donors, the Pink Fund delivered $1,004,390.27 in direct financial assistance to patient’s creditors for housing, transportation, utilities and insurance. That number is $235,244.56 higher than our previous fiscal year, which is especially remarkable given that we were still in the midst of a pandemic!

On further reflection, it is interesting to note just how much we have grown from 2007 when we delivered our first grants.  

To date the Pink Fund has supported 3,238 patients and their families with a total of $6,057,621.36 in financial assistance.

As we plan for our new year, we expect to continue to receive more requests than ever for support, and hope to be able to share that we will have increased our grants to well over a million.

All this is only possible because of YOU... our donors, our applicants, and the critical referral partners of social workers and navigators.

HELP IS ON THE WAY
In July, we delivered $89,076.29 in financial assistance to breast cancer patients in active treatment. Essential bill payments for housing, utilities, transportation, and health insurance premiums were made directly to creditors on behalf of patients and their families.
