Why Cohousing? Listen to our Members,
Joan and Janette Share Their Stories

Join the conversation about cohousing and meet Ralston Creek Cohousing members, Janette Weasley and Joan Barrett as they share their stories! Find out why they are excited about starting a new community in Arvada, Colorado. This is a Facebook Live event.

On Saturday, August 15 join us at 6:30pm MT, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/RalstonCreekCoHo. We will be live and chatting with people who drop by. You can ask questions and learn more.

"In our cohousing community, I will have my own home and share common facilities like a dining room, guest room or art space. I look forward to visiting with my neighbors when I would like to socialize and also having private time. This will be a good balance for me," says Jannette.

“I am really liking getting to know the people in our community and our vision to build energy efficient homes, utilizing solar and geothermal energy. I also enjoy socializing and working as team member with the others,” says Joan.

Intentional communities come in many different shapes and sizes. Join us to learn more…on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/RalstonCreekCoHo

Why Choose Cohousing?

Listen to our members share why they are choosing to live in cohousing. From coffee chats to dinner in Old Town, from yoga classes to gardening, they are so looking forward to being in community.

Ralston Creek Cohousing member, Norbert Kleibl speaks about biking from the Geos neighborhood into Old Town, Arvada for dinner and how he is looking forward to doing things with his neighbors. He says he and other members of Ralston Creek Cohousing can take the Ralston Creek trail and bike a short distance to grab some dinner.

We Choose to Live Sustainably

One thing I like about Ralston Creek Cohousing (RCCH) being part of the GEOS Neighborhood is the constant updating of their technology by incorporating solar and geothermal energy and sustainable building materials to build healthy homes.

GEOS uses MERV 13 filters to eliminate 95% of micro particulates to ensure indoor air quality. Norbert Klebl, the GEOS developer and founding member of RCCH, is working with the ventilation manufacturer to install a UV sanitizer to kill the last 5% of air particulates, including viruses.

By using sustainable products that don’t off-gas chemicals the efficient air circulation system will ensure that residents of Ralston Creek Cohousing Gatehouse will enjoy clean, virus free indoor air.
