S.C. Researcher Honored for Annual Governor’s Awards

SCRA proudly supports the South Carolina Academy of Sciences' annual Govenor's Award. SCRA Executive Director Bob Quinn, recently joined Governor Henry McMaster at the South Carolina State House to award the Excellence in Scientific Research Governor's Award to Dr. James S. Krause, Professor and Researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina.

The Excellence in Scientific Research award is presented to a scientist whose contributions to scientific discovery merit special recognition and have impacted the respective discipline on a national and international basis. Learn more.

Voterheads Announces the Expansion of their Collaboration with Ballotpedia

Voterheads.com, an SCRA Member Company, announced the expansion of its local government monitoring and reporting collaboration with Ballotpedia. Visitors to Ballotpedia’s city and county web pages will now be able to see agendas and details of upcoming and recent local public meetings. The collaboration was launched last year for Ballotpedia’s largest 100 cities pages in the U.S., and has now expanded to the counties for those cities. Read more.
