In Case You Missed It: PSAT/NMSQT Letter From Mr. Telford and Dr.Reid

A letter was emailed on Monday, October 13, reminding students and parents that the PSAT/NMSQT will be administered to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students during the school day on Wednesday, October 15. Please read the letter as it provides important test day reminders for students.

Seniors are not required to come to school on this day and are encouraged to use the time to finish college applications. This is a great opportunity for seniors to meet with their counselors on campus, by appointment only.

Attention Juniors: Carolina Panthers Student Business Day 2025

Join the Carolina Panthers for their first-ever Student Business Day on Tuesday, November 11th, at 9:00 AM at Bank of America Stadium! Each ticket includes the opportunity to hear from successful NFL employees specializing in marketing, sales, operations, corporate partnerships and more! Lunch and beverages will be provided. Every student will also receive a Panthers notebook and a ticket to the Panthers vs Rams game on Sunday, November 30 at 1:00 PM. Cost for event is approximately $80. Please see Mrs. Acitelli in the library to sign up for this opportunity.

The Flour Power club will be having a bake sale on Monday, October 20,

for Love Serving Autism. Love Serving Autism is a non-profit organization that "empowers individuals with autism and other developmental abilities by providing specialized therapeutic racquet (Tennis, Pickleball, Padel) sports interventions. These programs support their developmental needs, promote inclusion, enhance physical health and communication, and foster emotional well-being." This bake sale will be CASH ONLY, so please bring cash on Monday, October 20. Donations will be accepted.

Career Exploratory Program Showcase

CCHS parents are invited to drop-in anytime for the Career Exploratory Program Showcase on Friday, October 17, in the library from 7:45 AM – noon.

At this event, seniors who participated in the pilot Career Exploratory Program (CEP) last summer will share information about the program and their experiences. All juniors are eligible to apply for next summer’s cohort and will attend the showcase during their social studies classes.

CCHS Class of 2026 - Scholarship Reporting Form

Seniors, we want to celebrate your success!

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.

• To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
• Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
• Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
• Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

Annual Ladies Tennis Tournament - Friday, November 7, 2025

Registration is now open! A fun day of tennis open to all levels of play. There will be a morning and afternoon round robin. Sign up for the flight that fits your schedule.
