Announcing New CCED Assistant Director, Mary ZumBrunnen
The Center for Community & Economic Development (CCED) welcomes Mary ZumBrunnen as the new Assistant Director. Mary formerly coordinated the U.S. EDA University Center for Regional Economic Innovation housed within the CCED. She brings 20 years of community and economic development work across the state of Michigan and internationally through her consultancy, One-Community Consulting. In 2019 she was recognized as one of the top ten change-makers to watch over the next decade in Mid-MI by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. A best-selling author, she is also a Terry McAdam book award nominee for most useful and inspirational contribution to the nonprofit industry bridging research and practice. In her free time Mary is a certified yoga instructor, enjoys importing coffee from SE Asia, as well as creating mixed media art and acrylic painting. She holds a BS in agriculture and natural resource communications, MS in community, agriculture, recreation and resource development, and an MBA from Michigan State University. Mary's Bio
