The Rev. James H. B. Kenyon, canonically resident, retired priest of the Diocese of Albany, passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 19th at the nursing home where he resided, due to an illness unrelated to COVID-19. Fr. Kenyon was the founder of the Albany Refugee Resettlement Ministry (ARRM).

His funeral will be on Wednesday, April 22 at 9 am at the Cathedral of All Saints with burial to follow in the Albany Rural Cemetery. In compliance with government guidelines, the funeral will be private. Please keep Pat, his wife of 62 years, in your prayers. Later in the summer, when the current social-distancing restrictions are lifted, a memorial service to honor his life will be held.

Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord; let light perpetual shine upon him.

Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn; that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
